Over the course of the past 26 years the Georgia Family Business of the Year Awards have shined a light of recognition on the hard work done by family businesses. Over this quarter century the Cox Family Enterprise Center has presented close to one hundred awards to family businesses throughout the state of Georgia. Building on this amazing legacy, this year, they decided to introduce an element of innovation capturing two critical dimensions: Resiliency and Sustainability while maintaining the deserved respect of Legacy.

Evans is honored to have been selected as a finalist in the Resiliency catagory. The Evans Companies celebrates the gift of family business everyday, but on this evening we were specially humbled. Thank you to the Cox Family, Kennesaw State University, and Regions Bank for allowing us to be part this prestigious event.
