1. Can you create a prototype of something I designed?
Yes, absolutely! Our rapid prototyping services can efficiently develop and test your designs, accelerating their time to market.
2. What if all I have is an idea?
Our engineering team can help develop ideas into exactly what you envision.
3. What is the difference between metal stamping and laser cutting?
The stamping process involves creating a die of the shape required, then a heavy press "stamps" out the product.
Laser cutting is used to melt, vaporize, or burn through metal to create the most intricate designs. The fiber laser cutting process is exceptionally versatile, efficient, and clean, boosting productivity while delivering cost- and energy-saving benefits, as well.
4. What materials do you recommend for laser cutting?
Our fiber lasers can create precise cuts on a variety of metals, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and titanium.
5. What are some of the applications for laser cutting?
A laser can be precisely focused to achieve tight tolerances for cutting all types of shapes. The material is burned away to create both simple and intricate designs with smooth edges. This process can be used for:
- Developing rapid prototypes at a fraction of the cost of building a die
- Cutting precision automotive and aerospace components
- Creating flat panels with smooth joints
- Producing extremely accurate parts for medical devices
- Designing and cutting custom signs, unique gifts, and more
6. What is your turnaround time?
How fast we deliver a finished product depends on a lot of factors, including volume and complexity. Most projects can be completed very quickly. We are very proud of our 97% on-time delivery rate. It helps that everything is made in the USA!
7. Do you work with individuals, or just companies?
We work with anybody who needs metal fabrication, whether it's for a single sign for the front lawn or 10,000 parts for a commercial product.
