Laser cutting is the fastest way to a finished metal part. There is no die to design, no tooling to amortize, and no minimum order to clear, so a first order can be in production the same week you send the file. It is the shortest path from an idea to a part in your hand, and the ideal on-ramp to full production at Evans.
A cleaner cut, and no second step
Laser cutting uses a highly concentrated beam of coherent light to thermally separate metal, in effect, melting a path only as wide as the beam itself. The result is minimal material loss, a narrow kerf, and intricate geometry that other methods can't hold.
The finish comes off the machine smooth and square, which usually eliminates secondary processing like sanding or edge sealing. Integrated cameras adjust the cut path on the fly, so the process repeats accurate, complex parts run after run.
