Dee Barnes, owner of Evans Metal Stamping, was named the the 2013 Jerry Barboe Small Business Person of the Year by the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce in recognition of Dee’s contributions and the difference she has made in the community.

The small businesses are what separate our communities from other communities. These are our neighbors.”
Barnes said after the ceremony “I am very honored to have won this award, to be in the community and to be able to give back and provide jobs. I wouldn’t be in this position if it weren’t for the staff supporting me and making Evans great. We are proud as a company and I am proud to be part of it.”
(March 27 – Atlanta) Evans Metal Stamping announces an expansion of its industry-leading tool and die making capability with the installation of a new Agie Charmilles CUT 300 EDM wire machine.
